How Periods Affect Women’s Mental Health

It's no secret that having its period for many women can be a difficult time. From physical symptoms like cramps, bloating and headaches to the emotional effects of PMS, it can be hard to stay positive during your period. But did you know that periods also affect our mental health?

Recent studies have shown that there is a link between menstrual cycles and mental health issues such as depression and anxiety. Hormonal changes throughout our cycle may cause fluctuations in moods which could lead to feelings of sadness or irritability. It's important to recognize these signs so we can take steps towards managing them better.

One way we can do this is by being more kind with ourselves during this time - try not to take on too much at once or pushing yourself too hard when you're having low energy level due to hormones changing throughout your cycle . Additionally, make sure you are getting enough restful sleep as well as staying hydrated - both will help keep your body balanced physically and emotionally even when experiencing hormonal shifts associated with menstruation.

Finally, don’t forget about regular exercise – it releases endorphins which act like natural antidepressants!

Scarlet tonic drink contains Acai Berry which is a superfood that helps with stress, anxiety, and depression. It’s also a female supplement that supports brain health.

Periods shouldn't stop us from living life fully but rather remind us how amazing our bodies are, for we take that on, monthly! Take care of yourselves ladies! :)
